This past Resurrection Sunday we talked about Jesus being the first fruit and along with Him the wave offering.

It was interesting to think about who made up the wave offering Jesus, as HighPriest, took with Him to the Father to present.

Was it Simeon, Anna, His step Father Joesph? or even John the Baptist?

We believe the wave offering was made up of those who trusted Christ as Messiah before His death on the cross for us but during His Earthly ministry. Matthew made note of the event for us and between the curtain be torn from top to bottom in the temple and the brief appearance of resurrected saints caused “a great company of the priests” to believe.

Acts 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
